The brightest Lupine ever!
The new Betty II is more than just an 1850-lumen powerhouse of a lamp-head. By employing Cree XP-G emitters in their familiar 7-LED Betty Class array, Lupine engineers have been able to subtly refine the body by integrating the power control microprocessor in the lamp head, reducing the mass by 20% (129g), shortening the body (2mm), and designing a universal aluminum mount that adapts from 25.4-31.8mm by simply swapping EPDM rings. A new aluminum bezel assists the all-metal (no plastic) body in achieving the heat management necessary for 24-Watt operation.

PCS
The PCS switch is more than a simple turn on/off switch. The PCS controls the high and low beam, protects your rechargeable battery against deep discharge and includes a low battery indicator. It gives optimal dimming with variable frequency which allows even for a weak battery to generate a bright white light. Out of the box the PCS V7 is set to standard factory settings. There is no need to program the switch as the factory settings already allow full use of the lighting system. However some individuals have their own requirements which can easily be programmed.
LENS
We don’t use a combination of 7 standard single collimated lenses. These are available in various sizes, beam patterns and angles but as usual, did not satisfy our demands.
Our lens was customized and developed by Lupine; therefore it works much more efficiently than a standard optic. Our own lens made it possible to tune the beam pattern and provide an excellent light for night rides. By engineering a special lens array we were able to build a nice and tiny light even with 7 LED’s.
LEDs
We are using 7 high power new generation LED's, for a maximum output of 1,850 Lumens.
Cleverly, the LEDs are user replaceable, as are the lenses - so that you will have the option of changing the lamp’s focus and coverage and when extra-super bright LEDs appear in the future, you’ll be able to replace them and upgrade without having to junk your lamp.

valid for all Lupine lamps is all the more important for Betty; the
know-how acquired over 15 years of lamp development and the experience

darkness.
The new Betty can be mounted everywhere; on the handlebar,
the helmet or as a headlight. Future upgrades can be accomplished by
anyone, even without technical knowledge.
Our
lens for the Betty was customized and developed by Lupine; therefore it
works more efficiently than any standard optic. Our own lens
design allows us to harness all 23 watts of beam and provide a perfect
beam pattern, creating a most enviable portable lighting package.
Our
highly-efficient electronic converter always makes sure you get a
maximum light output. All sets include our premium
charger, the Charger-One in a nice CNC aluminium housing and with a
digital display. Another highlight is the inclusion of a lightweight
and robust titanium front-cap for Betty. Betty 14 - the true light for 24 hour racers and night riders.
